Bachelor in Trumpet (2004) and Master in Music / Musicology (2007) at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Bachelor of Laws (2008) at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ). A Doctoral student at the PPGM at Escola de Música/UFRJ, under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Marcos Nogueira, in the research line “Performance practices and their reflective processes”. The ongoing research addresses the application of the theory of self-regulated learning in the achievement of autonomy in higher education training in music (bachelor's degree in a musical instrument) and performance pedagogy. Member of the research group “Musical Cognition in Creative Processes” (CMPC). He worked as a Trumpet Professor at Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (MG), from 2010 to 2014, and since 2014 he has held the position of Trumpet Professor at Escola de Música/UFRJ. He works as a collaborating professor at PROMUS (Professional Graduate Program in Music) and is a member of Quinteto de Metais da UFRJ. He was an instrumentalist at Orquestra Sinfônica do Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro (OSTM) and at Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira (OSB), and a guest musician with Orquestra Petrobras Sinfônica (OPES).
