Assistant Professor of Flute at the UFRJ School of Music, she holds a PhD in Music from ECA-USP, where she developed a thesis on the history of the flute in Brazil. She is the creator and member of groups that focus on the repertoire for recorder from different historical periods, such as Duo Flustres and the ensembles Baroque Affettuoso and Galanteria. Since 2014, she has been part of the Orquestra Barroca da Unirio (OBU), directed by Laura Rónai, with whom she has performed as conductor and soloist in venues such as the Espaço Cultural BNDES (RJ), Sala Cecília Meireles (RJ), Theatro Municipal do Rio de Janeiro, Teatro da UFF (Niterói) and Theatro Municipal de Nova Friburgo. As a researcher, she regularly participates in scientific and artistic events relevant to the areas of Flute Doce and Early Music, such as the Meetings of Researchers in Musical Poetics of XVI, XVII and XVIII Centuries (USP-SP), the International Meetings on Historical Performance of the Tatuí Conservatory (SP), the Harpsichord Weeks of UFRJ (RJ), the Flute Project in Flute (UFPE-Recife), the Colloquium of Ancient Music of UFG (Goiânia) and the Series of Ancient Music of Goiás. In teaching for over 30 years, he has been a reference for the teaching of flute and the promotion of actions and projects that value the research, pedagogy and history related to his instrument. At the UFRJ School of Music since 2011, she is a teacher of the Licentiate course and the Professional Master's Programme in Music (PROMUS), being the current Coordinator. She is responsible for the extension project Flute in System (2020-21) and for curating the Early Music Festival (2011-2015) and the Flute Seminar (2015 and 2018).
